Specialist Breast & Women's Healthcare
A Better Way Forward for Breast Care
Luma Women’s Imaging Centre & Medical Centre was founded on a shared vision: to make the journey through breast assessment and diagnosis more coordinated, accessible and considered for women.
Through their work in both private practice and the public healthcare sectors, the founders of Luma and Solis Breast Care & Surgery Centre encountered patients navigating lengthy waits, travelling between different locations for consultations and investigations, and moving through multiple stages before reaching a diagnosis. These experiences highlighted an opportunity to rethink how breast care could be delivered.
Their vision was to bring key elements of the diagnostic journey together within a dedicated centre for breast care by connecting imaging, diagnostic procedures, pathology and day surgery, alongside clinical expertise, to help reduce unnecessary fragmentation and support a more coordinated patient journey.
Today, this vision continues to guide Luma's approach: bringing specialised capabilities together with a shared purpose of supporting better breast care for women.
The People Behind our Vision
Luma’s work is supported by a team of radiology and pathology specialists whose expertise spans breast imaging, image-guided procedures and diagnostic pathology.
